Guy Hamilton and R T Pennington were re elected commissioners after a Tuesday city vote with thirty one ballots cast in the uncontested race. In the school race C J Meador and G C Stateville were re elected without opposition with thirty four votes. Whitewright’s governing body includes Mayor F M Echols and commissioners Hamilton and Pennington. The school board members are C J Meador president R A Gillett secretary Gomer May John Reeves B W Newman Clay Horton and G C Stateville. The Tuesday night school board meeting was not held.
