Huge eggs prove hens still lay giants in town
Mrs. E C Lankford and Mrs C F Holland sent The Sun two giant eggs last Saturday. Lankford’s eggs measured seven and three quarter inches around the long way and six and a quarter around the short way. Holland’s egg was seven and a half inches around the long way. Officials confirm all eggs are hen eggs, no turkey or duck eggs in the lot, and capitalized on low market values.
