New York March 10 a delegation from wool and dog goods firms including James Ho Dunham E H Townsend J R Quimby W B H Greenough Wooster Theodore Fralinheyn Arthur Barcom and others met Senator Hill to press against the income tax as the Wilton tariff bill looms. Hill indicated opposition to the tax and favored a tariff high enough for American manufacturers to compete, urging swift action and a concise business-driven input from New York interests.
