Frederick Warde and Louis James headline the Wheeling Opera House revival of Henry IV with fine scenery and bright costumes. James as Falstaff steals scenes while Warde’s Prince and Hotspur, with Miss Everett, CJ, Turner, and Woods in supporting roles, earn praise for strong acting and timely humor. The bill also features vaudeville acts, Bessie Bonehill, and the Merry Farce Hoss and Hoss with Bowery dance, plus The Tornado and The Trolley System at nearby venues.
