No 1 Ney in Dublin and a Fenian adventure tale

A first person narrative recounts meeting Miss Elen Maguire, a self described anarchist, and a plan involving potheen and a nitroglycerin bomb aimed at the crown procession. After delivering a heavy bag to York Street, a police inquiry leads to arrest threats and a comical yet chilling examination, revealing the bag contained a weapon. The tale links to detective Phallon and the infamous No. 1L, with hints of later notoriety surrounding the conspirators.
