Tragic rail accident near Bridgeport claims life
A nighttime rail collision on the Bellaire to Martin's Ferry line near Bridgeport kills a man identified as George Shryock, aged about twenty one, and injures others. The victim died about half an hour after the crash. Dr. John Cooke noted a deep head wound as the fatal injury and found letters from a woman believed to be a sweetheart.
