The LaPorte circuit court September term opened last Monday with Judge J C Richter. The civil docket holds 293 cases, 83 filed since the prior docket. 33 involve divorce and many damage suits are listed. The criminal docket has 11 cases including liquor law violations and first degree murder against Antone Lambert, with a death penalty sought.
