M. O. Wright, aged 93, nearly blind and troubled by hallucinations, is found not mentally dethroned after examination. He is being cared for at his son Watson’s home south of town. In town, Laporte Telephone Co. builds a new structure nearing completion with Francis Brown of Otis and carpenters, Alf Steele designer.
