Christopher Michael born in Prussia on June 6 1842 died at his Westville area home on Thursday March 23 1917 at age 74 years 9 months 16 days He came to America at 19 and lived in the community most of his life He married Marie E Malchow in 1867 and is survived by son Henry Michael of Ket tle Falls Washington and daughters Laura Hollar Elkheart Indiana Marie Shunk and Dora Michael of Westville Two daughters died earlier also He suffered a sunstroke eight years ago and death followed a general decline Services were conducted by Rev Sauer at the German Lutheran church and burial was in Westville cemetery Relatives and friends from out of town attended Autopaint services offered by J B Philley Valparaiso. 41
