Republican convention endorses ticket in Michigan City race
The Michigan City Republican convention put its stamp on the county slate with A. J. Dickey facing Judge Richter for the judgeship. The rest of the ticket was named by acclamation. Theron Miller for prosecutor, Herbert Misener for representative, and others including Odell, Gildersleeve, Snyder, Anstiss, Miller, Bailitz, and Morgan. A notable overflow of Democratic-leaning observers tempered by party loyalty and a strong party-show tone marked the gathering.
