Westville Adopts Health Rules for Schools and Public Safety

Ordinance No. 66 in a Feb 5 1894 special session enacts State Board of Health rules. It covers school admission, disease reporting, vaccination, disinfection, funerals, and requires hospitals, physicians and boards to enforce sanitary standards and record births, deaths, and illnesses.

Clarence Dood left for Iowa to visit his uncle Nelse Burgess. A wedding is planned soon.
