The Judgeroom reports a theft discovered late this morning with no crew to identify the robbers. It marks a second robbery at the store within about a year. An advertisement for Cham berlain’s Stomach and Liver Tablets claims they cleanse the stomach and tone the liver, offered by E. T. Scott.
Harmon the Medaryville oil well driller works on a well near Dunn's bridge about two miles from Wilders. A Marion Ohio syndicate holds a large land lease in the area and Harmon is engaged to sink several wells.
The Indiana Brewer's Association voted to raise beer prices effective January 1 unless Congress cuts beer taxes. A. Hagen of Indianapolis, president, led the Bates House meeting and cited production costs 75 percent higher than last year.

An advertisement claims Major's Cement costs 3.75 per pound and 2.65 per gallon, alleging many substitutes are cheap glues diluted with water or acids. It touts Major's cement and leather cements at 15 and 25 cents per bottle, cites large advertising spend, and suggests repairs at home to save money. Established 1876, mail orders available.
