Mr and Mrs Geist settle in a fine county home while Mrs Clarence Geist selects carpets in Laporte. F D Pease and wife from Rolling Prairie help install a wind mill for Geist. Skite Wilsons teach diamond cutting in Hartford and note a large glass factory in operation. Rebecca Talbot from Valparaiso visits family. Frank Flood hosts Thanksgiving gatherings. Charlie Cole and others pay a farewell visit to Andrew Johnson and wife.

Florence Travis, Travis school teacher, held a box social Friday for the library fund. A Salem church box social Saturday raised about ten dollars. Ells Pee of Laporte visited Sunday with her parents. Mrs Cooper and daughter Dora went to Laporte Saturday for library funds.
