Mount Temple Wrecks Near Lunenburg With 600 Aboard
During a blinding snowstorm the Canadian Pacific steamship Mount Temple bound from Antwerp to St. John struck the La Have ledges 15 miles south of Lunenburg Nova Scotia. About 600 passengers were aboard and were being transferred to smaller vessels for safety. all were believed saved.
