Barnard Reunion Gathers 108 Relatives at 1900 Farm Meeting
The Eleventh Branches of the Barnard family held their fourth quinquennial reunion August 27 1900 on the Nelson Barnard farm two miles west of town. About 300 attendees including 45 members and 61 relatives enjoyed a grove dinner and program with songs letters from Nantucket and Wayne County and portraits of ancestral homes. Attendees included numerous Barnards from across the Midwest and the absence of Branch 8 and two branch members.
