A. J. Nusbaum of Batesville Indiana endorses Foley's Honey and Tar as a fast cure for hay fever and summer cold after ineffective medicines and persistent symptoms that interfered with work. He states the remedy quickly cured him at E. T. Scott's.

The La Porte County Board of Commissioners announces bids on September 1, 1905 at 11 a.m. for macadam road construction in Nee Durham Township about 12 miles long. Bids must be placed with the Auditor by 11 a.m. and include double the bid amount in cash security. Unsuccessful bids will have security returned. The board may reject any or all bids.
Sunday morning services will include the usual preaching and collection for funds. In the evening the two congregations will join in a union service at the Christian church, efforts praised and urged to support for community good.
