Mrs. Florence M. Lewis Rites Held at M. E. Church

The last rites for Florence M. Lewis were conducted at the M E church Sunday at 11 a m Rev D A Rodgers officiating. Born near Westville Indiana January 18 1861 she married Milton W Lewis November 11 1883 in Constantine Michigan and had three children Claude Leroy and Wesley. She died April 16 1903 aged 42. Burial was in Westville cemetery.

Funeral of Hiram Earl Martin Near Door Village

The funeral for Hiram Earl Martin age 21, only son of Mr and Mrs H B Martin, was held from their Door Village home Saturday afternoon. A large gathering mourned the young life lost in the early hours and offered condolences to the bereaved family. Earl died after a ten day illness at his sister Mrs Wm Gamb’s home in Grand Rapids Michigan. The remains were interred in Door Village cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs Bohland held at Wanatah church

The funeral services for the late Mrs. Bohland were conducted at the Christian church in Wanatah on Saturday at 10 am with burial in the Weatville cemetery. She was 70. She was summoned to Kouta by illness of a brother and sister about ten days before her death. During the visit the brother, Barney Kouts, died.

While performing household duties Mrs Bohland collapsed and died instantly from heart disease. Her husband died fifteen years earlier in the same manner. They left three children including Wm Bohland.

Rural Routes for Westville and Indiana delivery plans
