Westport Referendum Quiets Lower Turnout Yet High Approval
Westport and Weston showed above average turnout as Connecticut ratified two constitutional amendments in a special referendum. Westport’s 5.7 percent turnout produced 461 to 21 for the codification amendment and 444 to 21 for the election certification measure, with margins near 20 to 1 and a statewide trend near that level. The League of Women Voters campaigned vigorously to mobilize voters.

Weston Town Hall Dedication Planned for July Fifth
Secretary of State Alice Leopold and Rep. Fill-In Project Study Launched In Saugatuck River Plan

Salvation Army Drive Underway in Westport
