Local boy electrocuted in tree near Westport home
Thirteen year old Tom Allyn son of Mr and Mrs N C Allyn of 197 Bayberry Lane Westport was electrocuted late Wednesday afternoon after touching a live power line while climbing a tree near his home. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Norwalk Hospital at 6 10 p m Local police and fire crews aided in the rescue and emergency procedures.
