Westport may hold balloting of property owners in September to decide on the North King s Highway Area Historic District if the RTM accepts the study committee's final 26 page report. Three owners filed objections. 75 percent approval would allow enactment of an ordinance establishing an historic district commission.
Two New York City residents Harry and Edith Schein have sued the Bridgeport Court of Common Pleas contesting the Planning and Zoning Commission denial of their Cross Highway and Punch Bowl Drive subdivision plan. They allege the P Z exceeded time limits and denied notice while awaiting a fourth meeting.
