12000 to Quit Seattle Yards Strike Ordered

Porter Dies on Troop Train Arriving at Camp Lewis
A special troop train carrying 437 Montana draftees arrived at Camp Lewis in Tacoma. A porter died aboard the train and an investigation by Colonel D. V. Hayes is underway to determine the cause of death while the men are held in quarters.
