General Huerta to Stay in United States
General Victoriano Huerta, former provisional president of Mexico, arrived in New York aboard the Spanish steamship Antonio Lopes from Cadiz after passing U S immigration. He said his stay would be indefinite and he would return to Spain possibly in May. He declined to discuss his mission, promising to meet reporters later only with his signed approval, and was accompanied by General Jose C Delgardo and Abraham Ratner, an American citizen.

Airman Killed by Fall in College Park Flight Test
Washington aviator Cecil Malcolm Pooll died near College Park Maryland during a teetight in his self designed aeroplane. He planned flights from Washington to New York and to St Louis. The machine fell a height and his skull was fractured. The cause of the accident is pending. Pooll previously crossed the Andes in America and his craft was said to be the largest in the country.
