Flag Presentation Highlights Woman's Club Meeting

Colored pianist to give recital at High School auditorium
Carl Ditton of Philadelphia will present a piano recital as the second entertainment of the Colored Welfare League in the High School auditorium tomorrow evening. He is described as the leading pianist of his race and will be supported by the Borden Town Industrial School quartet. Proceeds go to Elizabeth General and Hublenberg Hospital.

Child Injured by Dog Sparks Westfield Debates
Six year old Elizabeth Goodwin was bitten on arm leg and face by a bull dog owned by Wilmer Stuart Jr as she played on a porch in Pleasant Place and Edgewood Avenue. Doctors treated her, her disfigurement feared permanent, while town leaders consider year round muzzling and dog control measures amid public urging and church pleas.
