Alpers Buys Stock Exchange Seat After McKinley Death

William J. Alpers of Watson & Alpers has purchased the seat on the Stock Exchange from the late William G. McKinley. He and partner Thomas L. Watson have sold their seats on the Consolidated Exchange, where they held membership since 1985 and 1878 respectively.

Westfield Choral Society Forms and Elects Officers

A meeting at the Harden residence formalized the Westfield Choral Society with officers James B. Cutler as president Oliver W. Hall as treasurer Misa Oriole V. Davidson as secretary and Alfred M. Best as director A scarf pin presented to Best acknowledged his devoted work. Members sang selections from The Light of Life and enjoyed refreshments in a festive season close.

Organ Recital by Lewis H Moore at First Methodist Church

Organist Lewis H Moore will give an organ recital at the First Methodist church on Friday evening with soprano Dorothy E B Beaumont and the Congregational children’s choir. Moore, known in Weet held for services in Brooklyn, will donate his services along with all performers. A freewill offering will be split between the Methodist Building Fund and the Children's Choir Fund.
