Westfield School Board Election Set For February 14
Westfield voters will elect three members to the Board of Education for three year terms at the high school meeting on Tuesday February 14 at 8 p.m. Citizens Tate and Mrs A W Orm join J Smith as suggested candidates. Other voting items include the 1922 1923 school budget transfer of Prospect Street School to the town and authorization of $18459.76 in notes for portable school houses.

A new Fremad branch of the Sons of Norway was inaugurated at Arcanum Hall in Westfield last Saturday evening February 5. The lodge, open to men and women, has about 20 members and invites more Norwegian descendants to join by writing K Norloff at PO Box 371 Westfield.

Westfield High School staged Clarence a four act comedy presented by ten seniors directed by Misa Louisa M. Aiber in the school auditorium over Friday and Saturday. The plot centers on a busy New York business man Mr Wheeler his family and a young veteran named Clarence who is hired during a visit by the Wheeler household. Bonds for Pat Commission to fund Union County park
Union County Freeholders moved to issue four bonds totaling 49 thousand dollars to support the newly formed Park Commission.
