New Hydrants Go In Across Plainfield Union
The Plainfield Union Water Company rushes installation of 286 hydrants with twenty five percent completed. Previously 84 hydrants existed at a cost of 926 dollars per hydrant. New hydrants cost 15 dollars each annually. Superintendent Dowd keeps crews busy during winter to finish the project. After completion Plainfield will average more hydrants per mile.

Madison invites Dr. Hayes to lead church for coming year
The Methodist church of Madison New Jersey invites Dr. A W Hayes to become pastor for the next conference year starting April 1. A large audience welcomed Rev Reginald Starr at St Pauls Protestant Episcopal Church for Sunday services during Lent.
