Gypsy Smith Campaign Draws 29,000 in Westfield
Gypsy Smith Jr. led a month long evangelical drive at the First M E Church in Westfield. Attendance peaked with 1,470 Sunday night and 400 turned away. Trail hitters and free will offerings raised 1,555.60 while overall collections supported expenses. Many converts came forward as the campaign ended with emotional scenes and exhortations to live by Christian faith.
