The final meeting of the Woman's Club in Westfield New Jersey elected 30 new members including active and associate categories. Officers for the State Federation were named with Grace Card Smith as President and a pianist gave a notable program. The club adjourned after a tea. The Westfield Public Library board decided to open the reading room on Sundays for reference use from 2 to 6 pm with staff on hand but no book exchanges.

Women’s Advisory Board Protests School Playhouse Move
The Woman's Advisory Committee to the Board of Education asked the board to allow the senior class to hold clea day exercises in the Playhouse instead of Washington school auditorium. Funds to cover Playhouse rental were available without taxing students. The board agreed to grant consent after hearing the committee's case.
