West field reports a Monday evening decision by the Masons to erect a temple for Atlas Lodge Magonic Club and Atlas Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. They purchased the northwest corner of Prospect street and Ferris place for 7000 with 6500 subscribed at once, locating near the station for the new building housing lodge rooms offices and club facilities.

Local Man Held Up By Highwayman In Westfield
Herbert Behrens of 637 Elm Street was robbed Friday night about 9 by a man with a revolver who demanded money and jewelry. Behrens identified Angelo Paoli of 95 Central Avenue as the suspect after police questioned him. Paoli is held for further inquiry. Clocks will move ahead one hour Sunday to daylight saving time per town ordinance.
