A man named M Holmquist accompanied by the Ellis County sheriff arrived Friday to observe Wallace County's county commissioners count the votes. He claimed distrust in both county officers and voters. He allegedly feared a mob and brought the sheriff as bodyguard. He urged Wallace County to dismiss him and return with his lies.
