Auto Crash Near Russell Injures Three People
Tuesday morning near Russell a Hudson touring car driven by Mr. Maier overturned after a high speed turn. Mrs Maier escaped unhurt while Mrs Dietz and Mr Dietz endured serious injuries with Mr Dietz crushed under the vehicle until help arrived. He remained unconscious until evening but later showed improvement.

Commencement Exercises at Trego County High School 1921
The 1921 commencement program filled the auditorium with students and community members. Rev W R Woodward praised Prof J H Niesley as long-time school leader and urged graduates to seek opportunity, develop individuality, and keep faith. Diplomas were presented by Prof Niesley. Esther Jacobs sang. graduates listed include Cecile Barclay, Harold Beason, Jesse Campbell, Chloe Dennes, Esther Jacobs, and others. A hospital board election followed with seven directors chosen to plan a $50,000 Memorial Hospital project.
