Trego County High School A Landmark In Western Kansas
In Wa Keeney, after decades of debate, Trego County established a high school funded by legislative action in 1904. The new institution opened with support from Wa Keeney, offered University Normal and General tracks, and earned full accreditation. It has grown from one graduate in year one to eight graduates this year and plans further expansion.

Adelphians Form Literary Society at T A H S in 1905
On November 3 1905 T A H S organized the Philomathian and Adelphian societies. Officers were elected and a constitution formed. In the first annual contest the Adelphians won all honors. Prior programs included the Kansas Day Commemoration with red and white decorations.
