Burr Weeks and son Henry return from Arkansas and southeast Missouri hunting a location. They may buy in southwest Missouri, where land runs from 350 to 500 dollars per acre. Osborne Farmer notes the turtle race quip about speed and parental support.
The usual Sunday School and Christian Endeavor meetings will be held next Sunday. There will be no preaching service in the morning or evening due to the pastor visiting his son in Iowa. Regular services resume in May.
Two hundred children representing many nations are presented in a Japanese garden. Admission is 35 cents.
Brezo County Fair Association directors formed teams to raise six thousand dollars to clear debts. By a luncheon count, five thousand five hundred was pledged, with six thousand one hundred twenty five total from all teams, including twenty eight hundred dollar pledges. The drive boosts a community hall conversion plan and a separate Epworth League election and church activities highlighted in the same issues.

Edison Phonograph Co and singer Glen Ellison showcased voice recreation with apparent exactness in Wa Keeney last Friday. Collyer sees voters pass 18000 bond for electric lights amid steady town growth and strong civic government.
