Republican County Convention Call Issued for Wa Keeney 1906
The Republican county Central committee met at the court house last Saturday and issued a call for a county convention in Wa Keeney on March 31 1906 at 2 PM to elect delegates to state and congressional conventions in Topeka and Lincoln. Delegates fixed at one per fifteen votes for J B Burrow for secretary of state. Primaries set for March 24 at 2 PM except in Ogallah Collyer townships.

Traveling Art Gallery Opens April 20 21 at County Club
A Traveling Art Gallery exhibit by the Tourist club comes to the south room April 20 and 21 featuring over 200 copies of Italian Dutch and Flemish masters. Boat exhibits in afternoon and evening with a ten cent admission each session. Prizes include large photogravure pictures for county schools and Wakeewey school delegations. Funds raised will seed a public library.
