Monetary Reform League forms in Trego county

A local chapter of the Citizens' League of Kansas is organized in Trego county with C. L. Hardman of Wa-Keeney as chairman. The Kansas League links to the National Citizens' League led by J. W. Farwell. C. M. Harger of Abilene heads the state group. Hardman will lead the county effort and speakers on Currency Reform are promised. The group advocates seven principles to influence law, including banking cooperation, liquidity, and independent banks.
