Resolution on water service charges adopted by city council

Golden Wedding Anniversary in Winchester
On March 22 1560 in Winchester William D Stephens 24 and Lavina Cox 19 married after years in Indiana Illinois and Iowa moving to Kansas settling in Trego County March 27 1887 they lived there continuously. Rev W E Scott presented gifts and a celebration followed for their fiftieth wedding anniversary with 25 neighbors 46 descendants attending. They report no use of intoxicants tobacco or profanity among 54 descendants and themselves.

Daniel Countryman Civil War veteran dies in WaKeeney
Daniel Countryman born September 1841 in Wheatfield Ingham County Michigan died March 17 1910 at 68 years 6 months and 17 days after a long illness. He married Evelyn A Clark December 30 1870 and moved to Trego County in 1880. Survived by wife and eight children D L Baker AThomas F P William S Eliza and Hattie with many friends. Funeral February 19 at the M E church in WaKeeney conducted by Rev Gunkel.
