Kansas City March 21 1911 beef steers in light demand under 1200 lb steady others slow. Hog and sheep receipts heavy with hogs 10 higher and a 14000 head run. Stockers and feeders weak but cattle prices remain mixed and competitive against Chicago. Local ad notices list sale of seed oats barley and abstracts of title.
The school board of district 8 will sell at public auction at 2 o'clock on Monday April 3. Frame school house 1524 includes a good iron pump and well casing, a lot of desks and seats, a heating stove and some outbuildings. Terms require sums over credit of six months at 4 percent, under 35 cash. Clerk H. C. McCollum announces.

The city notes her will bring satisfaction to her business patronage. A separate item reports Win Wells selling Spring Creek Ranch near Hill City to John Stewart of Effingham, Kans for 516,600 with 1,720 acres and improvements. Wells retires and schedules a sale March 27, with about 50 fine mares in stock.
