The Golden Belt Educational Association held its twentieth senial sessions in Hays with official registration of 1197 from twenty five western Kansas counties. Officers elected include H Cover Ellsworth president Louis Christeansen Hays vice president Anna Stanley Grainfield secretary Joseph Kellogg Trego treasurer. Awards crowned Ellsworth in basketball and other contests while prominent speakers from Univ of Iowa Missouri Kansas and state rural school association attended.
