Rural carrier exam announced for Trego County Kansas
The United States Civil Service Commission posts an exam date March 30 1912 at Wa Keeney for rural carrier vacancies in Ogallah Wa Keeney and other county routes. Entrance salary 500 to 1000 dollars yearly with age 18 to 55. Applicants must reside in the county served and meet citizenship requirements. Applications available from local postmasters or the Commission in Washington. An eligible register will be kept per county and one year’s service may lead to transfers within the classified service.
