Womans Missionary Society Show Draws Strong Praise
Last Friday night the Presbyterian church group presented a varied program at Garden Theatre. Views of the Grand Canyon and southwestern Indians accompanied by music readings and a soprano solo kept a well filled audience engaged despite stormy weather. A student quartet, Miss Tone Kraus, Miss Kirkman, and Miss Margaret Hardman performed with others. total receipts were 34.55 after light expenses, to support the society’s annual allotment.

Soldier and Sailor Banquet Planned for Wa-Keeney Friday
Arrangements are set for a banquet and reception honoring returned soldiers sailors and training students in Wa-Keeney this Friday. About 130 invitations have been mailed, with any reader invited to attend. Banquet begins at 5 30 PM at the Masonic room, followed by a Garden Theater gathering at 8 PM for a welcome address and program. Committee on Invitations.
