J L Olmstead born September near Mt Gilead Ohio died March 2 1917 at his Graham County Kansas home. He operated a Togo store on his farm gaining local renown. He belonged to Stasonic Episcopal church Masonic and Woodman lodges. He married Lena E Knox in 18ST. Lena died seven years after funeral services at Prairie Nome church by Rev Carlton under Masonic auspices. Interment at Prairie Home cemetery. Surviving children include Mrs Chas Snelling Kanorado Kan Mrs Wm Hartsook Siebert Col Mrs Myri Stites Mrs Arthur Steed Willis Irwin Faye Lester and Ila of Graham County.
