Smith and King Wed in Centralia Parlor Ceremony
Last Thursday at six oclock in the Rex ford House parlor Centralia a wedding was solemnized by Presiding Elder Charles A Beckett. The contracting parties were Thomas M Smith and Be King both Kinmuandy residents. Attendants were T Wade and Mrs Wade from Parma with witnesses J S Kniseley Salem M A Thrasher and Mrs F O Grissom. Afterward the couple visited St Louis with his sister and niece returning home Saturday night.

Pioneer dies after long life in Wa-Keeney community
Wesley S. Mead dies at L. Tatman residence after paralytic illness at almost 72. Native of New York, moved from Iowa to Wa-Keeney in 1878, worked in live stock and sale business until 1900, later cared for by Talman family. Burial at Methodist church. one brother Amos Mead in Chicago remains. Once affluent, losses from bad investments amid semi invalid years. Not a public burden, arranged to use remaining property for care. Mead contributed to new community development, humble in later years. Resolutions Honoring Mrs Laurel Morell At Collyer Mission Group
In a February 27 1908 meeting of the Ladies of the Home and Foreign Missionary Aid at Congregational Church Collyer Kansas resolutions mourn the death of Mrs Laure Morell who died February 22. The group expresses irreparable loss to the society extends sympathy to her family pledges remembrance and prayer and orders mourning badges worn for 30 days with copies of resolutions sent to county papers and placed on records.
