Obituary for Mrs James Bear of Kansas Territory

Mrs James Bear born in tol England 1851 died February 24 at the home of her daughter Mrs Mabel Newcomer in Collyer Kansas after six weeks illness. She came to America in 1500 with family, married James Bear October 7 1871, to which union twelve children were born. She resided near Russell Kansas, moved to Collyer two months ago to be with daughter, was a member of the Methodist Church, and is buried in Russell Cemetery after services by Dr J E Wilson.
