A marriage occurred as George Blackman and Irene Lucas wed in Ellis, Wa Keeney, with neighbors noting Irene’s piano skill and George’s local business ties. Rev and Mrs Cox of Portis visited en route to the Pacific Coast. Grant Bronson sold his Racket store to W W Parks.

Powers-Olson Wedding Quiet Ceremony Near Ogallah
The Rev W E Scott traveled from the city after Sunday School convention to unite Lester Powers and Ella Olson in marriage at the Olson home south of Ogallah. Hannah Olson played organ as the couple wed under a wedding arch in a small ceremony attended by two families. A bountiful supper followed and the couple hope for a long, prosperous life together.
