Jide Tunnell represented Trego county at the Populist Congressional convention in Smith Center Pussday. McCormick was renominated on the first ballot. The county sees more rain than since settlement, delaying farm work but promising large returns. Vetter and other Ogallah wheat loss insured with St Paul had their losses adjusted. Vetter received 50 percent of total loss.
