Grandfather Lipe Dies in Kansas After Long Life of Service

Lipe on June 7 1890 in Kansas at 11 30 am born October 26 1813 in Fort Pi sin Montgomery Co NY he lived in Memphis NY Marcellon and Harrisville later moving to North McGregor Iowa then Kansas He served as sheriff and treasurer in Marquette County and was postmaster at Montello He leaves a daughter Sarah Ferris and several grandchildren and dies in a Christian faith The second obituary records the death of Mrs W M Stimits near Wa Keeney Kansas June 6 1899 aged 68 after a long illness She leaves a husband four sons and three daughters and was buried at Wa Keeney Cemetery with a large funeral service led by Rev Gunckel.
