Grainfield Live Stock Sanitarium opens with 2030 cattle dipped

The Grainfield Live Stock Sanitarium opens its cattle dipping plant to dip cattle at the Grainfield Stock Yards east of town. The first day sees about 2030 head dipped, with estimates of a 3000 head target. Officials claim Moore's Stock Dip does the job, and local observers hail the project as a major advancement for livestock health. Gore City and Mansfield delegates attend, and charges run about 12.5 cents per head.
