Spraying Fruit Trees How To Do It For Best Yields

Spraying apples costs 3.50 to 5 a barrel last fall and twice that this spring. A spray pump and rigging cost 10 to 200, with first-class outfits 15 to 25. Use copper sulphate solution or Bordeaux mixture with precise proportions. Spray before blossoms open and again after blooms fall, then every two weeks as needed, adding paris green to water in later sprays. Use caution to keep mix fresh and pump parts unclogged.
