Birthday Party Honors Mrs Hattie Fuller on 80th Birthday
Last Saturday Mrs L. Shorthill hosted a gathering of longtime friends for Mrs Hattie Fuller who enters her 80th year on Sunday. Attendees included Mrs Bushman, Mrs Lawsman, Mrs Olson, Mrs Gorrell, Mrs Shaw, Mrs Scott with Ruth Mia and Mr Walker and Mrs and Rev Powell. The occasion recalled forty years of friendship formed before town expansion. Fuller, a key early Christian influence, helped start the first Sunday School and taught multiple classes across Baptist, Presbyterian, and Methodist churches. A prayer by Rev C V Powell preceded a six course dinner.
