Private Robert Heck arrived a ten Friday from Bordeau France serving in the American Expeditionary Forces. He praises France and the French people. Dr. Burnett attended Walter Morell. Mrs. Morell is in poor health but hopes for recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Matousek wed in Wa-Keeney. Mrs. Razak is noted. Tidball funded Armenian Relief. son Thomas presumed dead. official notice confirms his sacrifice. The county board imposes a strict contagious disease quarantine in Trego County Kansas including Spanish influenza.

Mrs Thomas Dies after Lingering Illness at Collyer Kansas

Kitty Deatrich Thomas born 1871 in Franklin County Pennsylvania came to Kansas in 1875 with Deatrich family. Married Harry M Thomas at Ellis Kansas July 27 1892. They lived in Trego County for 15 years. Funeral at Collyer Baptist church and Union Cemetery. Card of thanks from Harry M Thomas and family. Farmers Union meeting notice and teachers examination dates follow.
